FailSafe’s advanced threat detection and interception modules include an extra layer of security via two-factor authentication, allowing users to seamlessly retrieve assets which have been swept to their recovery vault while maintaining full custody of their crypto assets throughout the process.
Multi-Factor Authentication on FailSafe
When FailSafe intercepts a threat to your protected crypto assets, they are moved to a freshly created wallet address called a ‘Recovery Vault.’ This non-compromised safety net keeps crypto assets secure from any repeat cyberattacks, and users can easily retrieve them directly through the FailSafe dashboard.
Using multi-factor authentication, users can maintain full control over access to their FailSafe dashboard. This added layer of security plays an essential role in the process of safeguarding and recovering crypto assets using our modular blockchain security suite.
Essentially, two-factor authentication is required to execute critical actions within the FailSafe dashboard, such as retrieving secured crypto assets from a recovery vault.
How to Activate Multi-Factor Authentication
Step 1: From your FailSafe dashboard, click on the “Enhance Protection” tab.

Step 2: Click on “Set Up” and follow the prompts in the pop-up dialog box. After submitting your email address, you will receive an email with a link to finish complete setting up your two-factor authentication method. Double-check the email to make sure that it originates from our authentic sender address (alerts@getfailsafe.com via amazonses.com).

Step 3: Your two-factor authentication method is all set up! Make sure to use an email address that you do not often share with websites or internet services. It is also strongly recommended to activate multi-factor authentication on your email account using backup codes or a physical key.

FailSafe is designed to allow developers, enterprises, and individual users protect their crypto assets in worst-case scenarios. Start using FailSafe to improve your crypto wallet security today.
