FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a Proof of Reserves audit?

A Proof of Reserves (PoR) audit is an independent verification that a custodian, exchange, or protocol holds sufficient assets to cover all customer liabilities. We use cryptographic techniques including Merkle trees to create verifiable proofs that users can independently check.

How does cryptographic verification work?

We create a Merkle tree containing all user balances. Each user receives a unique proof that their balance is included in the tree, without revealing other users' information. The root hash is published publicly, allowing anyone to verify the total reserves match the claimed amount.

What chains do you support?

We support all major blockchain networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum, BNB Chain, Solana, Polygon, Avalanche, Arbitrum, Optimism, and many others. We can also verify off-chain assets held at regulated custodians.

How often should PoR be performed?

We recommend regular attestations, from monthly snapshots to real-time monitoring depending on your regulatory requirements and user expectations. Many clients opt for continuous monitoring with published weekly or monthly reports.
