Wui Foo on Bloomberg: Protecting websites as AI changes the threat landscape
Wui Foo, FailSafe president and co-founder, spoke with Paul Allen and Haidi Stroud-Watts on Bloomberg: The Asia Trade about how institutions can protect websites and services as AI-enabled attacks become part of the security landscape.
Bloomberg’s segment focused on protecting internet-facing websites and services while vulnerabilities and AI-assisted attack techniques are drawing increased attention. Foo discussed steps institutions can take to strengthen those systems.
Make security work continuous
For security teams, the practical challenge is turning broad concern into repeatable work: maintain an accurate view of exposed applications and APIs, prioritize fixes by impact, and verify that changes address the risk. Testing should stay within an authorized scope, with clear limits and review of the evidence.
AI changes the pace and scale available to both attackers and defenders. It does not remove the need for sound asset ownership, access controls, patching, incident readiness and human oversight. Teams still need to know which systems are in scope and what a test is allowed to do.
From interview to evaluation
FailSafe builds SWARM for authorized security testing across applications, APIs, infrastructure and AI systems. Organizations evaluating the platform can start with the product walkthrough, explore the interactive demo, or request a scoped evaluation.
