FailSafe SWARM is #1 on CVE-Bench

FailSafe is building the agentic continuous offensive security platform for modern enterprises. SWARM uses autonomous agents to test applications, APIs, and infrastructure, prove which findings are exploitable, and turn evidence into remediation and audit-ready reporting.

We are hiring a Tokyo-based Field CISO to turn leading SIs, MSSPs, MDR providers, and cyber consultancies across Japan and Korea into strategic FailSafe partners. You will help those partners create differentiated, recurring services on top of our platform.

This is not a conventional evangelist or advisory role. You will combine regional trust, technical credibility, and commercial judgment to build a category that is still being defined.

The opportunity

Why this role

01

Shape FailSafe's strategy in two of the world's most sophisticated enterprise and cybersecurity markets.

02

Work directly with the founders and regional practice leaders to localize the offering without diluting the technology or mission.

03

Build durable partner businesses around a platform that can materially change how enterprises buy and operate offensive security.

What You’ll Do

  • Build executive relationships with cyber-focused SIs, MSSPs, MDR providers, and offensive security consultancies across Japan and Korea.
  • Win strategic SI and MSSP partners that can take FailSafe-powered services to market across East Asia.
  • Design partner-facing service packages around agentic offensive security, continuous testing, CTEM and BAS, AI red teaming, AppSec and cloud validation, MDR validation, and proof of exploitability.
  • Lead credible CISO-to-CISO and practice-leader conversations from initial discovery through technical, commercial, and executive alignment.
  • Support co-selling with regulated enterprises across financial services, public sector, healthcare, telecommunications, cloud, critical infrastructure, and AI-native industries.
  • Adapt FailSafe's category narrative and value proposition to the priorities, buying dynamics, and service models of the Japanese and Korean markets.
  • Work directly with the founders on partner strategy, market narrative, pricing, packaging, discovery, and executive messaging.

Ideal Profile

  • Former CISO, Deputy CISO, Head of Security, Field CISO, or senior security executive at a major enterprise, cyber vendor, cloud or security platform, SI, MSSP, or global technology company.
  • Deep relationships with SIs, MSSPs, offensive security firms, cyber advisory practices, or managed security providers in Japan and Korea.
  • Experience working with or through partners to sell to enterprise CISOs, CIOs, security engineering teams, GRC leaders, and board-level risk stakeholders.
  • Strong understanding of offensive security, penetration testing, red teaming, AppSec, cloud security, MDR/SOC, vulnerability management, CTEM, BAS, and AI security.
  • Executive-level communication skills in Japanese and English, with the cultural fluency to build long-term trust across the region.
  • Credibility with both deeply technical practitioners and commercial executives.
  • Comfort operating in an early-stage company where the work spans strategy, selling, category creation, and executive relationship building.
  • Willingness to travel regularly across Japan and Korea for partner and customer engagements.

You’ll Be Especially Strong If You Have

  • Been a CISO or senior security leader at a large technology company whose products were sold through SIs or MSSPs.
  • Worked inside a major Japanese or Korean SI/MSSP cyber practice or helped build partner-led security revenue in the region.
  • Existing relationships with partner, practice, and executive leaders across Japan and Korea.
  • Helped launch a new cybersecurity category, service line, or partner program in East Asia.
  • Korean language ability or significant experience developing the Korean enterprise market.
  • A strong point of view on how AI and autonomous testing will disrupt traditional penetration testing, red teaming, AppSec, and managed security services.

Success Looks Like

  • Warm executive access into priority SI/MSSP accounts across Japan and Korea.
  • Partner leaders agreeing that agentic offensive security is a service-line opportunity, not just a tool demonstration.
  • Three to five qualified partner opportunities with named commercial owners and technical champions.
  • Two to three partner-branded service packages built around FailSafe.
  • Direct contribution to seven-figure partner contracts and co-sell pipeline.
